MEET STEPH
My given name is Stephana Mills, but I am commonly known as Steph.
My photography work is shaped by a Creator who has graciously given us tools, such as the camera, to permanently document the world around us.
It all began when my dad would give me disposable cameras throughout my childhood. I found the ability the camera contained to capture ordinary everyday moments both staggering and fascinating. My father later upgraded my disposable camera to a tiny blue Kodak digital camera. The quality of the image and ability to push a button and keep those moments in time astonished me.
I have since upgraded my camera equipment, but the events surrounding just one photo still do not cease to amaze me. The wonder and beauty of this world, and the people in it, able to be captured in one image is a gift. I believe God has given me a gift to continue creating art through the lens of a camera.
Soli Deo Gloria,
